I love DWW Wrestling.

It has been a wonderful production over the years that really raised the bar when it came to unscripted female wrestling and catfights.

Yes, the opening music is totally gay in the videos.   But, you hear that gay music..........and oddly enough it  doesn't leave your head for days.   There is something about it.   You hear that music and you just know it's "go" time. 

But........lately............I haven't heard that sound much.   That's because DWW has not been putting
new videos on their website since June of 2011.  (DWW seems to still be releasing old footage, but nothing by the way of the new.)

Like many of you fans out there............I have been wondering what is going on.

Since June of 2011........DWW has not uploaded any NEW videos to it's website.   That is, until 1/12/2012 of which they released 4 videos............all of which seem to be older footage just now being released.

I am an affiliate of DWW.

Meaning, that when somebody follows a link through my site to DWW I get paid a commission. DWW pays lower than anyone in the industry. However, that never bothered me as much as it should have, because a lot of their content is very good.

I bring this up because I got paid on a few sales that came through my site last month. Meaning, they are still selling videos.

However, why are they not making new ones?

I have sent 2 or 3 emails to DWW through their form the last few months requesting an interview to see what was going on. I assumed something must be going on, because I had not received any reply whatsoever.

(Of which, has been very unlike GR in my personal experience)

Reporting on this stuff is a double edged sword. On one hand, if a producer is having financial problems, you want them to get back on their feet, and not signal immediate distress to the public.

On the other hand, you want the public to know so they can make an informed decision. This Catfight Report website is almost sometimes like politics. You forge relationships, even friendships with producers, and then the last thing you want to do is go out and tear them down.

But, that's part of the double edged sword.   Playing that balancing act and doing it as fairly as possible from my own prism.   If fans think I'm not doing it right, I'm sure I will hear about it, and will be very eager to hear
your constructive criticisms if warranted.

I've been piecing this story together on various industry message boards. Most of these people are posting behind fake names on an internet board so you can take what you read with a grain of salt.

However, most of this seems legitimate, and you can make the ultimate call in the end.

DWW has been a big part of this business so I'm going to keep this article updated as news comes in.

It seems that a gentleman by the name of Marek has been involved with DWW for some time and reports claim that "Marek" was once married to Hana who now runs Foxy Combat.com

Reports claim that Marek and GR had a falling out of some sorts around June of 2011. Marek has gone on to start a new company called Fighting Dolls that features DWW girls such as Pamela, Mel, Eva N, Luna, and presumably many others along with some new faces.

Marek himself made a post in German at THIS FORUM and here is the best I can do with Google Translate to translate it to English:

most of the Czech Republic do not know who maedels GR , and have G.R. except on the events never seen.
other hand, I must thank dww I am here in this scene - that's the truth.
since early 2010 have opinions and problems started in june 2011, I've decided my own page-fighting dolls build.
This decision was not for me lightly, but I have not seen more perspective to work with dww on.
I do not want to hurt dww, but had to explain this.

I ask everyone to keep in mind this is probably a small part of the story. Not only that........but remember there are always 2 sides to every story.

I have not seen a response from GR anywhere and that should be noted before making full or total assumptions on the why's and how's of all this.

What is known is that there has been a split.

It looks like one side is Marek and Fighting Dolls. On the other side is GR and DWW.

Will DWW go on?

If one poster is to be believed............the answer is YES.

More light was shined on this entire situation over at the Tribgirls section of Hostboard. A poster claimed that GR was now running the new DWW site.........which is https://www.dwwtv.com/categories.asp

I will verify the details on this and get back. DWW TV looks like one of the sites ran by L Scott so I will update this posting when I find out.

Basically, G.R. told that piracy has done quite a bit of damage to their sales, which in turn made it difficult to get funds for new productions.

When few people buy/pay for it, how can they continue?

You know, that's a swan song I've been singing for a while. Fans want more, more, and more! Who can blame you. That's what's great about being a consumer. But, everyone else you go, and everything else you utilize, you pay for!

I can back up the statement above. GR has even noted to me in the past that piracy was absolutely scorching his sales. I really wonder if people out there who put pirated material up realize the damage they are doing to the people who lay their own capital on the line to produce this stuff?

These producers have families, relationships, and everything is effected when they are stolen from.

Just like if someone had stolen from you.

In any case, I wish both DWW and Fighting Dolls all the best. You are not the first company to split. You will not be the last. I hope both companies sharpen the saw on their creative abilities and start getting to work to bring the fans the best product possible.

DWW we hope you stay around in some form.

But, if you can't make money, and if people just want to steal from you, no one can ever blame you for taking your creative energies and investing them elsewhere.
